Before you delete: pay out any remaining balance first. A deleted account cannot be recovered, and a balance left behind cannot be claimed afterwards.
In the app (fastest)
Open ScanGo and sign in.
Open the menu (☰) and tap Delete account.
Confirm with your PIN.
Your account, profile, session and referral links are removed immediately.
By email
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email info@twengo.io with the subject Delete my ScanGo account and the phone number on the account. We will confirm by SMS to that number before deleting, and complete the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your name, phone number, PIN, conductor number and business details
Your session and device link
Your referral code and referral links
Saved settings such as reserve amount
What we keep, and why
Payment and payout records for up to seven years, as required by Kenyan financial record keeping rules. These are kept in a form no longer linked to your profile where the law allows.
Booking records for train tickets, for the same period.
